Intro

This is an AVR mega48 based infra-red transmitter that is capable of sending the digits 0-9 via the protocol used by time warner cable boxes. It allows my MythTV server to change the channels on the cable box which it is plugged into via audio and s-video. This little hand-soldered gadget has been in service for several years now and has probably executed ten thousand channel changes.
