Intro
This is a basic driver for two dc servo motors based on an AVR MEGA168 microcontroller and two LMD18200 integrated MOSFET bridges. Using some clever assembly code the AVR can handle two 300 KHz quadrature transition rates without missing counts while at the same time implementing a PID feedback loop at 1000 Hz. There is an onboard 5v switching power supply to handle power-hungry encoders.
