SyncBot

1 Description
SyncBot, our CS148 final project, is a synchronous drive lego robot.
Synchronous drive robots have wheels on turntables that rotate together; the
wheels are also linked together. Instead of driving around by turning the
robot toward where it wants to go and then driving forward, a synchronous drive
robot simply turns its wheels where it wants to go; the robot itself never
turns. SyncBot is also equipped with a sonar which faces the same way as it is
moving. It uses dead reckoning and sonar measurements to map its surroundings.
