August 19, 2002 - devilcat is born. arc welding in august is a true test of devotion.

September 13, 2002 - devilcat, at this point deaf dumb and blind, returns to brown with me. hardware development temporarily frozen.

January 15, 2003 - notebook replaced by mini-itx system, bump sensor ring with infra-red rangefinders added. bump sensor panels eventually turned out to make it less survivable in crashes due to their tendency to get caught on things.

June 12, 2003 - bump sensors removed. circular decks added. devilcat can no longer tell when a collision has occured, but, by and large, now wins those collisions. hard disk replaced; new hard disk attached with bubble wrap instead of machine screws.
